Nigerian content creator cum Nollywood actress, Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa or Kemz Mama, has opened up on her journey to stardom, stating that her father did not support her career.
Naija News reports that the skit maker, in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwu, said her father labelled her career as ‘irrelevant irrelevancies.’
She stated that her journey into the entertainment industry was almost impossible because her parents failed to support her.
In the snippet of the WithChude shared on Instagram, Mummy Wa recalled how her character was killed off in the popular TV series ‘Tinsel,’ without the producer informing her about the development.
Speaking about her role as ‘Mummy Wa’ in Mr Macaroni’s comedy skit, the actress said the skit maker did not call her back after her first appearance on his YouTube channel.
According to Kemz Mama, she struggled to get roles in the film industry because she was sexually harassed and was insecure about the size of her breasts.
However, everything changed when Mr Macaroni called her back to become a constant role in his comedy skit, and her social media pages grew into the millions.
